J.O.B.S.
J – Jobs – First and foremost, we need jobs in Michigan. Michigan is a great state and can be a center of prosperity again. My vision is a state that embraces economic growth. We need to get the bureaucracy out of the way, streamline the government, cut costs and overhaul the tax code so that Michigan attracts investment and cultivates growth. From top to bottom, I will have the state focused on creating a positive, job-friendly economic environment.
O – Opportunity – I am optimistic about the future of Michigan. We have the natural resources, talented workforce, top universities, infrastructure, heritage, ideas and desire to be great again. We need new leadership in Lansing that will create the right environment to empower the greatest asset we have as a state: our people.
B – Background – Having both business and legislative experience, I know what job creators need from government to be successful and how to get the reforms we need passed into law. The gridlock and budget gimmicks from Lansing are the product of poor leadership. The ideas to reform the state are out there, we need a leader with the right experience and courage to get the job done.
S – Servant Leadership – I embrace the servant leadership model, which means I serve and work for the people. Michigan does not need a governor who will dictate policy with a 10-point or 92-point plan. I will listen to your concerns and work with you to develop real solutions for our state that give you freedom to improve your life.
